You share so much with us, and we love learning about your lives. Here's a little bit about ours:
Lindie and I met when she starting dating my brother, and we were pretty stoked to become sister-in-laws in 2012. We started Little Poppy Co together in 2015 because we felt like buying bows was a huge hassle, and we could never get enough! We were constantly needing new bows after they were smashed in peas, eaten by the dog, or lost on all our adventures. Lindie went in search of a bow subscription and when she couldn't find anything out there, she knew she was onto something good!
Lindie: I'm from the small town of Richfield, Utah. I graduated in Biology from SUU but soon after fell in love with business and knew that was where I wanted to spend my time. My husband is currently in medical school which took us to Washington DC for a few years. I have boy/girl twins, Henry and Nora. They keep things exciting and crazy and I love being their mom. A few of my favorite things: donuts, dr. pepper, puzzles and bows!
Becca: I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from Westminster College with a BSN of nursing. I worked at Primary Children's hospital for 5 years and absolutely loved my time there. I was actually on my maternity leave after having my daughter, Charlie, when we started Little Poppy Co. I loved working as a nurse but was so happy to have a new way to help provide for my family while staying home with my daughter! A few of my favorite things: Diet Coke, my puppy Sailor Mae, eating out, days at the beach, and of course, bows :).
Running this small business together has been a wild ride and is certainly far from glamorous! We're constantly juggling being moms, wives, and business owners, and it's a lot of work. Our kids are running around the office with us most days, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We get to have so much fun with them, and teach them the value of hard work. We both still remember the day we got our hundredth subscriber and thought we had made it! Now, here we are with thousands of subscribers from all over the country, and can't believe how much we've grown. We truly appreciate each of you and love dreaming up these bows for your precious little babes.
